Gmail, Microsoft 365, and any IMAP mailbox converge into a single three-pane inbox — mailbox tree, thread list, thread detail — with per-mailbox sync progress and a shared team view.
Gmail and Microsoft 365 connect by OAuth; any other mailbox connects over IMAP, with presets for Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, and custom servers. A generic IMAP mailbox isn’t read-only — it sends over SMTP, the same as the other two. Every mailbox gets minute-level delta sync; Gmail additionally gets a real-time push watch that renews itself daily.
| Provider | Sync | Folder scope | Send |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gmail | OAuth, minute-level delta sync, plus real-time push | Full mailbox — Inbox, Sent, and labels | Yes |
| Microsoft 365 | OAuth, minute-level delta sync | Full mailbox — Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Archive, and custom folders | Yes |
| Any IMAP mailbox | Minute-level polling | Inbox only, in this version | Yes, over SMTP |
